Richard Nicholas Goodenbour, 53 of Bluffton died at 12:10 pm May 7, 2013 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born March 19, 1960 in Benson, Minnesota, to the late Robert E. and Rosella E. (Nelson) Goodenbour. On May 29, 1999, he married Rachel Clemens and she survives.

Richard was a self-employed accountant.

Survivors also include a brother Brad (Renee) Goodenbour of Benson, Minnesota; and four nephews Joel, Bryce, Brent and Brandon Goodenbour.

This past April saw 5.11 inches of rain when the normal is 3.29 inches, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.

Temperatures ranged from a low of 20 degrees (F) to a high of 82 degrees (F).  The average temperature for April was 49 degrees.

The most rainfall was measured on April 10 with 1.35 inches recorded.

 

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, May 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.
The meal this month is provided by the Mission Committee and will be sub sandwiches, potato salad, chips, dessert and beverage.

The visitors spent time at The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center on campus and later at First Mennonite Church in Bluffton.

DTR Industries, celebrating a quarter century in Bluffton in 2013, the , is the focus of the Friday morning, May 10, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast.

The breakfast program will be presented by DTR and it will focus on several of its accomplishments over the past 25 years. Jason Brandt and Emily Peck, DTR associates, will make the presentation.
