Maple Crest Senior Living Village will host a soup cook-off from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 1, and the public is invited, according to Daren Lee of Maple Crest.

There's two flavors of the month at Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Co. in February, according to Peter Suter.
