The Bluffton University men’s and women’s track and field program returned home from a weekend spent at the University of Findlay with several new school records and more personal bests. Charles W. Binkley, 83, died at 9:43 a.m. Jan. 27, 2013 at Richland Manor, Bluffton. He was born April 17, 1929, in Lima to the late William and Mary (Fleming) Binkley. On Oct. 3, 1958, he married M. Aileen Diller and she survives.
Mr. Binkley retired from Phillips Corporation, Ottawa. He was a member of the Pandora Church of Christ. Survivors also include a sister-in-law Lucille Binkley of Lima and several nieces and nephews.
