Nancy Armour is the winner of Week 4 of The Icon Football Contest. Nancy, Chris Conley and Jim Dillman each correctly picked 12 games this week. Chris was eliminated in tie-breaker 1 (picked Ohio State to win by 8 or more). Nancy and Jim picked the same tie-breakers. Since The Icon received Nancy's picks first she is declared the winner.

Special services for Advent will be held on Wednesdays, November 28, December 5 and 12 at 7:00 pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera.

The theme of the three is "God is Near: and will focus on preparing our hearts for the coming Savior.

Christmas For Kids will be held at  Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street , Jenera, on Saturday, December 1 from  1:00-4:30 PM . 

The program will provide children in pre-school through 4th grade a special opportunity to hear the real message of Christmas, along with Christmas crafts, music, refreshments and fun.

An American Red Cross blood drive is scheduled in Bluffton, Thursday, Dec. 6, from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, located at  101 S. Jackson St.

While walk-in donors are welcome, donors are encouraged to make appointments. To make an appointment, call 1-800-RED CROSS or go online at www.redcrossblood.org.
