Western Square Dancing is coming to the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center in June, July and August, according to Tonya Myers, Center director.

The dances are:

Monday, June 25
Monday, July 26
Monday, Aug. 27

A beginner's lesson is at 6:30 p.m. followed by dancing for everyone from 7 to 9 p.m. A professional caller will be at each dance. The cost is $2 for members and $3 for non-members.

Rev. James Kuhn

Rev. James "Jim" D. Kuhn, 79 of Lima, Ohio, died on Monday, June 18, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio at 5 a.m. He was a former pastor of the Bluffton First United Methodist Church.

Born Wednesday, May 31, 1933, in Burton, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Homer Kuhn and the late Phoebe (Ashcraft) Kuhn. He married Nancy Shuster Kuhn, June 29, 1957. She survives in Lima.

We continue our flight around Bluffton in the late 1940s. Here is the Grove Street-Kibler Street neighborbood. It shows just the edge of Motter Metro Park. If you examine back yards closely you will notice several clothes lines with clothes drying

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Brave" (PG) will be shown at the theatre from June 22-28.

Show times follow:

2D - Each evening at 7 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30.

3D - Each evening at 9:30 PM with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4 PM.
