Amalia Herzog (left) looks pleased to land a pie squarely in the face of first-year Bluffton University student Jessica Williams, from Genoa, as part of a friendly competition March 31 at Bluffton's annual Kid's Night Out. Held in Founders Hall, the event drew the maximum of 75 registrants in grades 1-6. Recreation students and intramural staff hosted the youngsters, who were placed in groups by age and moved through several supervised activities. Four of them also went home with new bicycles won in a drawing.
Bluffton High School presents "Vaudeville Tonight, A musical Revue." Performances are at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 15 on the Bluffton Middle School stage.
The musical is based upon the book by Joseph George Caruso and orchestration by Paul Curnow.
ReStore volunteers will be in Bluffton at the Citizens National Bank parking lot from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, collecting donations of gently used home improvement materials, appliances and furniture.
Bluffton seventh and eight grade musicians earned several superiors and other otherstanding ratings at Saturday's junior high solo and ensemble contest.
