Bluffton Presbyterian Church will hold a bake sale in front of Citizens National Bank on Saturday, March 31. The sale includes pies, breads, cookies and more. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon.
The Bluffton University men's and women's track and field team opened their outdoor campaign at Muskingum University on Saturday, March 17. The Beavers captured two wins, two runner-up performances and a number of personal best and qualifying efforts throughout the meet.
Tickets are now on sale for this spring's Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary colorama bowling night fundraiser at Bluffton's Southgate Lanes. Tickets are on sale at the bowling alley and the hospital.
This year's event takes place two evenings, starting at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 20, and again at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. Over 50 raffle prizes are available and no prize has a value of less than $20. Some prizes have values of over $100.
A list of prizes is on the attachment at the bottom of this story. Major prizes include two tickets to Kings Island and a $50 gas card.
Allison Choi, Columbus Grove sixth grader returns a volleyball serve in a BFR girls volleyball skills class. Several sports skills classes are taking place this month at BFR.

Emily Parker is the daughter of Scott and Jodie Parker of Bluffton. She is attends Bluffton Presbyterian Church and has taken dance classes for 10 years at Cindy's Tap on Wood.
William Deitsch, son of Scott and Louann Deitsch of Bluffton, plays baritone in the BMS band. He is a member of the Bluffton Black Swamp Soccer League.
Leland Gerber took this color photo (it's fading quickly) of the Beaver art piece on the Bluffton University campus. The work today is somewhat covered by shrubs but still exists between Founders Hall and Berky Science Hall. This photo was taken in the mid-1960s. In the background you can see Lincoln Hall and Hirschey Hall.
