Here's another Will Triplett photo. It shows a tile factory in Beaverdam, which makes this a rather rare photo because we've not seen many turn-of- the century photos from Beaverdam. The persons in the photo and the exact location of factory is not provided. The photo was taken cira 1900.

Ethelyn S. Oyer Rice, 93, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton where she had been a resident since June of 2007.
She was born Sept. 5, 1917 in Chicago, Ill. to Rev. Amos and Phoebe Pearl Steiner Oyer. After the death of her parents she and her four siblings were raised by Adella Steiner Oyer in Bluffton. On March 25, 1945, she married Edwin N. Rice and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2002.
The Bluffton Icon celebrated its first anniversary with a party at Common Grounds on Sept. 22. Over 75 persons attended. The Icon enters its second year as Bluffton's free Internet news provider with over 130,000 views to its credit.

The Bluffton Icon, Bluffton's free on-line news source, celebrates its first anniversary with a party at Common Grounds.The event, open to the public, is from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, the actually anniversary date that the website went live in 2009.
