BHS boys' cross country team

The Bluffton HS cross country team travelled to a quad-meet at Bath last Thursday. The host team, Bluffton, Kalida, and Lima Senior all competed. The boys and girls ran together, as there were only 59 runners present.

Bluffton dominated the field, as both teams ran their way to a win. A pair of Bluffton runners led the way for the Pirates, each grabbing first place: Matthew Herron for the boys and Hannah Chappell-Dick for the girls.

Bluffton University student Sarah Britsch looks out across Bluffton's campus from the steps at Berky Hall. Ariel Shuey, university student, took the photo in an introduction to feature writing class offered this fall. Photography is an element of the class. The first photo assignment involved shooting an informal portrait of a classmate.

One additional piece to this plate: The plate holder identifies the driver as a Liberty-Benton Eagles fan. The Icon spotted HSTA on Main Street near the Shannon Theatre one evening recently. Who is HSTA?
