Jan. 2
-A Jackson St. resident reported that an unknown person had stolen a trailer from her residence.
-Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of S.R. 103 and County Line Rd. Todd Marshall, 40, Bluffton was cited for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and that case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
-Police responded to a hit-skip traffic crash in the parking lot of a S.R. 103 business.
Jan. 5
-Police took a civil complaint from a Lake St. resident regarding child custody arrangements.
-Officers responded to S.R. 103 business where a patron had observed an unknown person enter their parked car and steal a purse that was left in it.
-Police arrested Justin Henning, 29, Rawson, for DUS following a traffic stop on S.R. 103. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
Jan. 6
-Police arrested Jesse James Lowe II, 39, Lima, for DUS following a traffic stop on I-75. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Jan. 7
-A N. Jackson St. resident reported that someone had scratched the side of her vehicle while it was parked on N. Lawn Ave.
Jan. 8
-Police arrested James Moser, 41, Bluffton for OVI following a traffic stop on S. Jackson St. for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Jan. 10
-A N. Main St. business reported that someone had made counterfeit checks with their bank account information and was attempting to pass them at out of town banks.
Jan. 13
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of Main St. and Jefferson St. Amber Shough, 23, Bluffton was cited for Reasonable Control and the case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
Jan. 17
-A N. Main St. business filed a complaint in regards to someone passing bad checks at the business.
Jan. 18
-Officers took a report from a university student who stated that an unknown person had entered his dorm room and stolen his I-Pad.
Jan. 19
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 18000 block of C.R. 15. Colten Schwab, 16, Mt. Cory was cited for Reasonable Control and the case is pending in Hancock County Juvenile Court.
-Police responded to the 500 block of E. College Ave in response to a report of an unknown male walking through backyards in the area.
Jan. 20
-A Lawn Ave. resident reported that his son was missing and never arrived home after school. After a short search, the child returned home and was okay.
Jan. 22
-Officers arrested Gena Marks, 44, Bluffton on an outstanding warrant issued by the Lima Municipal Court.
-A N. Spring St. resident reported that someone had been walking through his yard and peering into the windows of his residence.
Jan. 25
- Police took a civil complaint from a Lake St. resident regarding child custody arrangements.
-Officers responded to Bluffton University and took a complaint from a professor who stated that someone had entered her office and stolen her laptop and her purse.
Jan. 27
- A N. Main St. business filed a complaint regarding someone passing bad checks at the business.

Jan. 28
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash on Navajo Drive.
Jan. 30
-A N. Lawn Ave. resident reported that an unknown person had entered his residence and stole numerous items from the home.
-A Vance St. business filed a complaint regarding someone passing bad checks at the business.
Jan. 31
-A C.R. 15 resident filed a report in regards to a telephone scam where someone was trying to make her make a payment on a loan that she did not take out.
