Running programs to begin at BFR
"Area runners and those interested in picking up the sport are encouraged
to join either the Walk to Run or Improve Your Run program at BFR," according to Carole Enneking, BFR director.
Meeting twice weekly for eight weeks, the running groups will work on
endurance and form. The Walk to Run program is designed for those
individuals who are already walking but have not ever attempted a 5K race.
The Improve Your Run participants will be those who have run several 5K or longer runs and wish to increase speed. Cost is $35 for 16 sessions
led by BFR staff trainers, Amy Byers and Britny Tuttle. Groups will meet
at 8:30 or 9 a.m. and/or 7 p.m., depending on interest.
Contact BFR for more information, 419-358-4150 or visit it at 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.
