National Assisted Living Week Celebrated at Maple Crest
“National Assisted Living Week” ended with a “Grand Finale Party” for assisted living residents and resident assistants at Maple Crest, Bluffton.
Check out the photos at the bottom of this story.
In keeping with the art theme, each resident and staff person was encouraged to bring along something the person created during any era of his or her life.
The variety of items presented that afternoon was amazing, and the party participants thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to recognize the skills and talents of fellow residents and co-workers.
Even the cookie refreshments were an artistic expression by one of the Maple Crest cooks, Chris Setzer. Thanks also goes to volunteer Jerry Burkholder for helping to serve as well as showing around the items for display.
