Bluffton business professor to remember Raid in Nov.30 lecture

Dr. George Lehman, chair of Bluffton University’s Business Studies Division, will discuss a longtime Bluffton business faculty member during a campus colloquium on Friday, Nov. 30.

Lehman’s presentation, “Surveys, Slaw Cutters and Internships: Howard Raid and the Bluffton Business Community,” will begin at 4 p.m. in Stutzman Lecture Hall in Bluffton’s Centennial Hall. It is free and open to the public.

Also an entrepreneur, Mennonite historian and ordained minister, Raid taught at Bluffton from 1947-79. Lehman is now in his second, five-year term as Bluffton’s Howard Raid Professor of Business, and also directs the university’s Graduate Programs in Business.
