Bluffton Diamond Sports offers awesome prizes in raffle fundraiser
The Bluffton Diamond Sports will hold a raffle ticket fundraiser, which offers several prizes, according to Erinn Prater, president of the organization. Tickets are $10 each and will be available from players, coaches and parents of players.
The raffle ticket prizes follows:
1st prize: 4 tickets to Cincinnati Reds game vs. St. Louis on Sunday, Aug. 4, at 1:10 p.m. - seats in Section 122, Row H, behind home plate - over $300 value
2nd prize: $100 ticketmaster gift certificate for Reds tickets
3rd prize: 4 club-level tickets in form of a gift certificate for any Toledo MudHens game
4th prize: 4 field-level tickets in form of a gift certificate for any Toledo MudHens game
Only 400 tickets will be sold and the drawing will be June 1.
Extra prize: Cincinnati vs. Cleveland tickets on Monday, May 27, at 1:10 p.m., section 511, row M - $60 value (this prize will be drawn during the week of May 13).
"There are a lot of expenses in running this organization for over 150 children, which includes everything from league fees for each team, paying umpires at the junior high level, buying the hats/visors the children get to keep, new balls for home games, purchasing sand and stone for the park, paying for field maintenance, to equipment (bats, helmets, catchers’ equipment) and uniforms," Prater told The Icon.
