Mildred Fay Morrison 1916-2010
Mildred Fay Morrison, 94, of Russels Point, passed away at 7 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the Beckett House in New Concord, Ohio.
She was born in Hancock County to the late Clarence E. and Blanche E. (Abbott) Wells. She married William A. Morrison and he preceded her in death in 2002.
She was also preceded in death by a son, William Wells Morrison; a
grandson; son-in-law, Dennis Bame; two brothers, Richard and James Lee
Wells and five sisters, Margaret M. Swanson; Mary Ellen Jackson; Ruth
Wells; Patricia Poppe and Donna Jean Werner.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by two daughters, Karen S. Bame of Marion and Linda K. (Phillip) Dever of Norwich; three grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a brother, C. Joe (Betty) Wells and two sisters, Deane Faine; and Phyllis Lou Harruff.
She worked at Triplett in Bluffton for many years and was a former member of the Mt. Cory United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 2, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home where visitation will be for two hours (9-11 a.m.) prior to the service.
