Sharon Bishop was a 1962 Bluffton High School graduate
Sharon Bishop, 69, of Findlay, died at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 4, 1944 in Bluffton, to the late Oliver and Helen M. Steiner. On Aug. 31, 1968 she married Charles Bishop and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Amy of Columbus, a son Stephen, a daughter-in-law Katie, and granddaughter Layla, all of Bloomington, Ind. She was preceded in death by a son, Andrew, a brother, David "Pete" Steiner, and stepfather, Cleon A. Steiner.
She graduated from Bluffton High School and attended Columbus Business College and Bluffton University. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and the Thursday Conversational Club. She was also a sustaining member of the Findlay Service League.
The funeral service was Nov. 5, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Findlay with Pastors Mark Hollinger and Kelly Sterling officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church or The Findlay Hope House.
