Linda Staley named Volunteer of Year at Bluffton Senior Citizens Center
Linda Staley is the Bluffton Senior Citizen Center volunteer of the year, according to Tonya Meyer, director.
Staley was selected for the honor by the Center board of directors. The volunteer of the year is chosen for "hard work, long hours and dedication to the center."
Meyer said, "Linda has volunteered many hours in the kitchen during fundraisers and has donated hats, scarves and other items that she creates for the Senior Center Gift Shop.
Roger Edwards, board president-elect, presented the award at the December dinner meeting to a very surprised Staley.
