Emma Woodruff Bluffton HS December student of the month
The student of the month at Bluffton High School for December is Emma Woodruff. She is a 4.00 junior at BHS.
Her parents are David and Margaret Woodruff of Bluffton.
Emma is a member of Student Senate, Math Club, Latin Club, Yearbook, Lima Area Youth Orchestra, Marching, Pep and Concert Bands, National Honor Society, is an S.O.S. Tutor for Bluffton Elementary Students, and is a member of Early Morning Seminary. She attends the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Accomplishments during her high school career include Freshman Science Award, Accelerated Geometry Award, Latin I Award, Sophomore English Award, Accelerated Algebra II Award, two Home-Ec Awards, Personal Progress Young Womanhood Recognition, Junior Field Commander, received a Rating of 1 on Class A and Class B oboe solos and is an Academic Letter Winner.
Hobbies include sewing, baking, learning the ukelele, and spending time with family. Other interests are playing the organ, piano, oboe, and viola; volunteering at the Mennonite Memorial Home and working at Suter's Produce.
Her intended field of study at the college level is possibly in Health Services Administration (focusing on elderly care), but is still searching.
