"Welcome to McDonald's, may I take your order" woman named Ohio crew person of the year
Heather Lutz, an employee of Jerry Lewis' Bluffton McDonald's Restaurant, was recently chosen as the McDonald's Crew Person of the Year for the state of Ohio.
Lutz was chosen out of nominees from the more than 700 Ohio McDonald's Restaurants.
Lutz has worked at the Bluffton McDonald's for nearly two years but has a long history with McDonald's Restaurants. Lutz, who now lives in Findlay, spent more than 11 years working for another McDonald's owner/operator in the Mt. Vernon area. Not only did she start as a crew person in Mt. Vernon, but she also worked as a manager for six years.
She spends much of her time at McDonald's in the drive-thru taking orders and cashing out customer orders.
She said that she loves working in the drive-thru because she is passionate about serving customers. Her restaurant manager, Luke Franz, says "Heather is always smiling. She serves customers with the same happy voice, huge smile, and overall friendly personality each and every time she works no matter how busy or stressful things might be."
In addition to receiving a plaque and a check from Joe Erlinger, Ohio Region Vice President for McDonald's, Lutz and six other nominees from Jerry Lewis' McDonald's Restaurants, will be going to the McDonald's World Wide Convention in Florida later in April.
