Garmatter Street water main project completed
The Garmatter Street water main project is now completed. Jamie Mehaffie, Bluffton village administrator, reported that in addition, it is now tied into the water line at Riley Street.
“When the weather warms up a little bit Beaverdam Contracting will run a pressure test on the line, then complete the disinfection and testing process,” said Mehaffie.

Once that is completed and passes its test the line will be connected to the new main.
While the contractor is awaiting a temperature warm-up, work will begin on the replacement of a portion of the sanitary line on Garmatter. Work will also begin on the Kibler Street water main replacement project.
Mehaffie will update Bluffton council on that project at Monday’s council meeting.
Several other agenda items are on Monday’s meeting. The entire council packet is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
