Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary men's choir to perform at Trinity Lutheran
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will host the 40-voice men’s choir of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary on Sunday, March 8. The choir will present both the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services.
This free program includes traditional and contemporary religious music. Chorus members accompany the choir on organ, piano, violin, saxophone, guitars, brass, and drums.
The Seminary Chorus, directed by Professir James Tiefel, has toured throughout the country in its 83-year history. Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, located in suburban Milwaukee, Wis., prepares pastors for the worldwide mission of WELS. WELS is the third largest Lutheran church body in the U.S. with about 1,300 churches in 49 states and 390,000 members. Headquartered in Waukesha, Wis., it carries out mission work in 23 countries around the world.
