Mary Fruchey worked at Triplett Corp. for 27 years
Mary E. Fruchey, 79, died March 12, 2015, at 4:47 pm at her residence. She was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Lima, to the late Lloyd and Pearl (McMillen) Haviland. She married Dick Inskeep who preceded her in death. She later married Robert Fruchey on February 25, 1961 and he died on Sept. 14, 2004.
Mary worked at Triplett Corp., Bluffton, for 27 years. She had worked at Fredrick's Beauty School prior to that. She attended Beaverdam Church of Christ. Mary was a graduate of Lafayette High School.
Survivors include a daughter Anita (John) Tibbs of Liberty, Ind.; two sons Bill (Cindy) Fruchey of Beaverdam, Mark (Kathy) Fruchey of Bluffton; three step sons Bob (Peg) Fruchey of Mechanicsburg, Dean (Connie) Fruchey of Sidney, Rodney (Sandi) Fruchey of Bluffton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters Martha Hadding of Lima, who was her twin, and Alice Winegardner of Bluffton.
Mary was preceded in death by a son Mike Inskeep; and two brothers Howard Haviland and Earl McMillen.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Renee Caskie officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Beaverdam following the service. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
