Donations needed to make Bluffton go "Ka BOOM" on June 27
Q: Who can help?
A: Individuals, families, businesses, civic organizations and industries (anyone).
Help Bluffton explode with color and sound on Saturday, June 27.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce in cooperating a major sponsorship with Springfield Firework, chamber members and you, will bring a fireworks display to Bluffton for the second year.
This year’s display takes place at dusk in the Bluffton University football stadium area. The show costs $8,000+ and the chamber has its hand out seeking help to pay for the show.
Donations are accepted from individuals, families, organizations, businesses and industries. A donation form is an attachment to this story.
"We were very encouraged by the donations given last year and by the large crowd that watched the show," said Larry Hoffman, chamber president. "We've planned our fireworks always for the last Saturday in June. That way it's the first offical holiday fireworks of the season."
All donors will be publically recognized on the chamber website, posters announcing the event, the Shannon Theatre and on the Bluffton Icon. Deadline for sponsorships is June 5.
Donations may be made out to: Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.
