Stratton Auto Group expands into former Kirtland's Auto Sales
Stratton Auto Sales, 220 N. Main St., has expanded its services and has a new name, reflecting this expansion, according to Shawn and Jay Stratton, owners.
Under the new name of Stratton Auto Group, the business now operates Stratton Auto Sales, Main Street Rentals and Bluffton Auto Repair Center.
“We are very excited about our expansion and look forward to continuing to serve current customers and add new ones,” said Shawn and Jay.
Sales and rentals remain at 220 N. Main St. The repair center is now at 302 N. Main St., and the company offices are at 314 N. Main St.
With the addition of Bluffton Auto Repair Center, housed in the former Kirtland’s Auto Sales business, at 302 N. Main, the company has expanded north on Main and now has locations on both sides of Jefferson Street.
Personnel involved in Stratton Auto Group – in addition to Shawn and Jay – include:
• Amie Stratton, office manager
• Chuck Jones, operations manager
• Jim Kinn, service manager of Bluffton Auto Sales
• Tim Sopher, A.S.E. master technician
• Scott Sough, A.S. E. certified technician
• Matt Goeke, lot manger
Jim Kinn said that the Bluffton Auto Repair Center will offer all the features of the former Kirtland’s Auto, including general automotive service and tire sales.
“We are adding air conditioning service to our features,” he said.
In the next month used car sales will expand. Watch for that expansion. In addition, Bluffton Auto Repair Center will have an official grand opening later in the fall.
Stratton Auto Sales began in 1991 by brothers Shawn and Jay in rural Bluffton. As the company grew, it relocated on Main Street and continued to expand the services it offers customers.
Business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
