It's Bluffton High School homecoming week - here's the court
This year’s Bluffton High School homecoming court includes several members of the same family. Two sisters and two brothers are members of the court. And a sister-brother pair includes a court member and a driver.
The 2015 homecoming king and queen will be announced in a pre-game ceremony Friday at Harmon Field. Watch the Icon for more homecoming information.
Here are members of the court and drivers.

Senior queen candidates
Hannah Conley
Hannah is the daughter of Joel and Jodi Conley. She participates in BHS soccer and power lifting. Her school club memberships include Art Club and SADD.
She attends Ebenezer Mennonite Church where she is a Bible study leader on Wednesday evenings for junior high youth. She hopes to attend Rhodes State College and study to become a physical therapy assistant.
Mia Edwards
Mia is the daughter of Ben Edwards and Angel Lombardo. She participates in Latin Club.
Outside school she is a cashier at Wendy’s, a Lutheran Life Villages volunteer, JROTC cadet captain and Harvest Food Bank volunteer. She was the freshman Bluffton homecoming attendant.
After high school she hopes to major in military science and participate in Army ROTC.
Samantha Fruchey
Samantha is the daughter of Brad and Kelli Fruchey. She participates in softball, volleyball, power lifting, choir, cafeteria volunteer, ocean focus and Pirate Super fan.
Outside school she is active in club softball, NWC sportsmanship committee, Emmanuel United Church of Christ, youth baseball and softball umpire, youth softball pitching coach and works at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home.
After high school she hopes to major in business and mortuary science and wants to attend a college where she can play softball.
Senior king candidates
Mitchell Ault
Mitchell is the son of Robin and Gary Ault. He participates in football, basketball and baseball. He hopes to study business while playing football in college.
Misha Groman
Misha is the sone of Darrell and Irina Groman. He participates in football, show choir, concert choir, chamber choir, student senate and Latin Club.
Outside school is a member of Bluffton Boy Scouts, swim team (Lima YMCA Barracudas and Bluffton Sardines), Ebenezer Mennonite Church and the Allen Lima Youth Leadership.
He was a freshman homecoming escort. He is undecided on a college, but hopes to study mechanical engineering.
Nick Luke
Nick is the son of Matt and Carole Luke.
He participates in band, cross country, wrestling and track. He works at Luke’s Paint and Paper. His future plans are undecided.
Juniors
Kristen Yost, junior attendant, is the daughter of Jason and Jennifer Yost. She is in show choir, concert coir, chamber choir, flag corps, concert band and drama club.
She works at the Bluffton Dari Freeze, teaches piano lessons, dances and teaches dance at Cindy’s Tap on Wood, Columbus Grove, and attends St. John Mennonite Church where she participates in the youth group.
Alton Burkholder, junior escort, is the son of Steve and Laurel Burkholder.
He is a member of Latin Club, Math Club, show Choir, academic team, Drama Club, chamber choir, student senate and student council. Outside school he works at The Centre.
Sophomores
Leah Conley, sophomore attendant, is the daughter of Jodi and Joel Conley.
She participates in soccer, track and Spanish Club. Outside school she is a member of the Ebenezer Mennonite Church youth group and Teens for Christ.
Kaleb Jefferso, sophomore escort, is the son of Jaime Hoffer and Maurice Jefferson.
He participates in Spanish Club, football, basketball, track and strings.
Freshmen
Hailey Gregg, freshman escort, is the daughter of Shawn and Dyanne Gregg. She is a member of Spanish Club and track.
Mason Ault, freshman escort, is the son of Gary and Robin Ault.
He is a member of student senate, football and basketball teams. Outside school he is a member of Bethel Church of Christ, has worked for Powell Seeds and has mowed cemeteries in Liberty Township.
Drivers
Jack Burrell is the son of Sean and JoLynn Burrell. He participates in soccer, student senate and is a class officer. His college plans are undecided and he is pursing business and engineering.
Miranda Diaz-Shook is the daughter of Tracy Stever. She plays softball and works at McDonald’s. Her college plans are undecided.
Noah Edwards is the son of Ben Edwards and Angel Lombardo. He is in Latin Club, show choir and chamber choir. He hopes to attend Ohio State University and study engineering.
Alexis Lawrence is the daughter of Chasity Taylor, Rob Taylor and Gus Lawrence. She is employed at Pilot-Flying J Subway. She hopes to purse cosmetology and business.
Jared Metzger is the son of Amy and Mike Metzger. He is in Latin Club and the golf team. He also participates in Boy Scouts. His college plans are undecided.
Noah Scoles is the son of Vanessa Greer and Rick Scoles. He is employed at Kiene Recreation. His future plans are undecided.
Alyssa Snider is the daughter of Jeni and Greg Snider. She participates in soccer and her future plans are undecided.
