Jimmy Koogler 1947-2015
James "Jimmy" L. Koogler, 68, died Oct. 23, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Jimmy was born Sept. 8, 1947, in Lima to James and Margaret (Hefner) Koogler who preceded him in death.
Jimmy was active the Senior's program at Marimor Industries. He lived at Yale Bloom, Lima. Jimmy enjoyed looking through his magazines and drinking coffee. He loved being with people and never knew a stranger. Jimmy had many friends, caregivers and staff at Champaign Residential Services, Lima and Marimor who loved him and enjoyed caring for him.
Survivors include three brothers, Nelson (Sharon) Koogler of Lima, Kenneth J. (Roz) Koogler of Vaughnsville, Ross M. (Ky) Koogler of Belle Center; several nieces and nephews; his friend and caretaker Cindy; and special friends, Carl, Calvin, Mike and Bobby.
Services will be held Wednesday at noon. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Charles Warren officiating. Burial will be in Lewis Grove Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Marimor Industries or Gideon's International.
