Wilma E. “Willie” Abbott 1931 - 2016
Wilma E. “Willie” Abbott, 84, of Findlay, died at 12:50 a.m. March 9, 2016, at Birchaven Village, Findlay.
Wilma was born March 13, 1931, in Columbus Grove to the late Clyde and Ina Foster Benroth. On Sept. 1, 1949, she married Kenneth Abbott and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1998.
Wilma was a homemaker. She was a member of Pandora United Methodist Church and a member of the former Asi No Mas Club, Pandora. She loved traveling, flowers and dancing.
Wilma is survived by three children, Cindy (Ned) Zuercher, Tony (Debra) Abbott and Marvin (Bernice) Abbott all of Pandora, seven grandchildren, Timothy (Becky) Abbott, Brad (Molly) Abbott, Lee (Brianna) Abbott, Cassie Abbott, Regina (Charlie) Vanderhalf, Adam (Amy) Zuercher, Andrew (Rachel) Zuercher and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Benroth, Jr, and sisters, Mildred Westrick, Mary Montgomery, Thelma Benroth and Alice Hamilton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 12, at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Duane Kemerley will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora.
Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com
