Robert Weyer, 1991 - 2016
Robert Weyer, 25, died on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 3:30 a.m.
He was born on May 25, 1991, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Robert B. Weyer and Rachelle (Hoff) Benfield. His father survives in Ada and his mother and step-father, William Benfield, also survive in Ada.
Robert worked at the Lowes Distribution Center, Findlay. He was a 2010 graduate of Ada High School.
He is survived by a son, Seth Michael Robert Foster of Lima; a brother, Aaron Weyer of Columbus; a sister, Tora (Tyler) Musselman of Ada; a step-brother, A.C. Benfield of Lima; a nephew, Logan Musselman; maternal grandparents, Nancy and Charles Deringer of Ada and Margaret Hoff of Manchester; paternal grandmother, Catherine Weyer of Bluffton; and Rachelle's birth mother, Sharon Ropp of Forest.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rev. Elford Hoff; and paternal grandfather, Robert L. Weyer.
Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 5, Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Marty Clum and Tim Garmon officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Robert's son, Seth's Education Fund, with checks payable to Seth's mother, Julie Warner.
