Meet the creators of the 2017 graduating class photo slideshow
Two Bluffton High School seniors who are putting together the class of 2017 graduation slide show, are the Icon's artists of the month.
The students are Sydney Staton and Madison Soper.
Sydney Staton
She has taken Photography I and Photography II as her art classes at BHS.
"Next year, I plan to go to Bluffton University and major in Mathematics and minor in Computer Science. I also plan to play soccer for Bluffton, in the fall," she said about next year's school plans.
"My biggest project this year has been the senior slideshow that will be shown at graduation. It has been fun collecting old pictures and creating a nice video to show how we have grown in the past 12 years."
Madison Soper
She has taken Photography 1 and Advanced Photography as her art classes at BHS.
"I will attend Ohio State Lima and majoring in Animal Science, next school year," she said.
"I have been working with Sydney on the senior slideshow this year. I enjoy working on this project because I know how special this slide show will become to others after we graduate," she said.
"It's so much fun see all the old pictures and memories we had as a class. I am so happy I have had the opportunity to take photography these last two years of high school.
"Mrs. Garmon has pushed me to creative, to think outside the box and has constantly reminded me that your work doesn't have to be perfect, just "fine." I am very thankful for the photography and life skills she has taught me."
