Van Buren, Defiance next on BHS girls's soccer slate

The Lady Pirates girls' soccer team come out strong in their season against the Ada Bulldogs Monday evening at Steinmetz Field.
Megan Dulle set the pace with a goal assisted by Jill Steinmetz just six minutes into the game. Steinmetz added a goal a short four miutes later.
The Pirates were pumped and never looked back. The goals kept coming. Katie Palte and Kelly McCarthy also made their contrabutions with assists by Steinmetz and Rachel Yoder.
All totaled, the Pirates had 11 goals-7 from Megan Dulle, who broke the old school record of goals in one game. Blufftons defense did their part as well having two steals and four interceptions.
Goalie, Abby Heslep had three saves and Kayla Longworth had two. Bluffton out-shot the Bulldogs 24-5. Pirates won the game 11-1.
Ottawa-Glandorf
On Thursday night the Lady Pirates hosted the O-G Titans at Steinmetz Field. The Titans tenacious defense was too much for Bluffton to handle. O-G outshot the Pirates 6-1.
Defensivley, Bluffton had 5 steals and 5 interceptions. Megan Dulle scored on Lindsey Seifker 14 minutes into the second half, making that the only goal the Pirates would have that evening.
Goalie, Heslep had five saves for Bluffton. The Lady Pirates being 1 - 1 will host Van Buren this Thursday and Defiance on Saturday, both at Steinmetz Feild.
