Sheerer named HCAC Player of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Macey Sheerer (Bucyrus) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week following a stellar opening weekend in Chicago, Ill.
Sheerer hit 14-of-26 (53.8 percent), including 5-of-11 (45.5 percent) from distance, as the Beavers went 1-1 at the North Park Tip-Off Tournament. She led the Beavers to a 67-66 win over #7 Ohio Northern on Friday night. Sheerer averaged 19 PPG, 5.5 RPG and 3.0 assists per game for the Beavers.
The versatile guard converted a career-best five triples on just seven attempts against the host Vikings! She moved up to 5th on the all-time scoring list with 1,081 career points after netting 38 markers at North Park.
Bluffton is back in action on Tuesday, Nov. 21, when the Beavers welcome Heidelberg University for the home opener at 6 p.m. in the Sommer Center.
