The Toledo Zoo came to the Bluffton Public Library on Monday.
Youth attending the program met sea urchins, crabs, sea stars, a hedgehog, a Silkie Chicken rooster, and a Virgin Islands tree boa snake.
"The Bluffton community definitely loves to learn about animals, and it showed yesterday because we had over 150 attendees."
"The two representatives from the zoo talked about animals and how they adapt to their environments and afterwards, young and old alike got to pet or touch the Silkie rooster, Tree boa, and the water animals."
