Thursday ribbon cutting for Bluffton's newest business
A ribbon-cutting for Bluffton newest business, Board and Brush, takes place at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, according to owners Dan and Betsy Lee.
The Lee's open their business in the former Mustard Seed Cafe, 562 N. Main St. Bluffton.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will handle the ribbon cuting.
"You are invited to enjoy some goodies, demonstrations and giveaways," said the Lees. "Board and Brush will have swag bags for the first 50 attendees and one person will win a VIP party for 10."
This past spring, the Lees, using the name Timber and Vine, LLC, had planned to open the business at 121 S. Main St. That changed when the Mustard Seed Cafe became available.
At that time, Betsy described their plans this way: “We are a creative studio where people can come to build on-trend, farmhouse-classic, inspirational pieces of décor for their home, office or cottage.
“Our studio will offer projects with a vintage, timeless look with accents of black and weathered wood to help people cultivate their inner DIY design skills. And each hands-on wood sign workshop teaches the techniques needed to create a custom piece that looks professionally made.”
