Scam alert: Bluffton police are not soliciting funds to fight terrorism
Here's a scam alert from the Bluffton police deparment, according to Matt Oglesbee, lieutenant.
"The Bluffton Police Department has received information that residents have been receiving letters in the mail stating that we are soliciting money to help fight terrorism.
"This letter is NOT from the police department and we are not asking anyone to send money to an organization on our behalf.
"If you have received one of these mailers, please do not send money as it is not something that we are sponsoring or even aware of."
