Bluffton council getting ready to dive in the pool
Bluffton Community Swimming Pool salaries and rates legislation for 2019 is working its way through Bluffton council this month.
The first reading of the proposed legislation passed on Feb. 25. If approved, the following wages and rates will take place this year.
Daily admission, $4
Family season pass, $150
Additional children, $10
Single season pass, $70
Senior single season pass, $40
Ten-visit pass, $35
Pool rental – 2 hours, $200
Swim lessons for members, $30
Swim lessons for non-members, $40
Swim lessons, private, $85
Full-time village employees and immediate family, free admission
Proposed wages:
Note: These are minimum guidelines to set wage levels. Council may provide for a higher pay scale level for each position.
• Pool manager, $13.25 per hour
• Assistant manager, $10.25 per hour
• Life guards, $8.75 per hour
Pool personnel who complete the season will be reimbursed for fees associated with CPR certification and lifeguard training up to $80.
