“Sew Many Memories"
Bridge Bereavement Services is offering a “Sew Many Memories” grief support program on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Birchaven Village, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay.
The Sept. 26 session is for planning purposes and the Oct. 6 session will be used for sewing. This program will offer participants the opportunity to turn their loved one’s clothing into a keepsake.
“Parting with clothing that belonged to our deceased loved one can often be an emotional decision to make,” said Kristi Beall, Bridge bereavement coordinator. “This program will allow those who recently lost someone close to them to turn that clothing into a heartfelt keepsake.”
“Sew Many Memories” is open to any adult, child or family who has recently experienced the death of a loved one. No sewing experience is necessary, and volunteers will be available to assist. Participants must attend both sessions.
Preregistration is required by Monday, Sept. 23. To RSVP or to learn more, call Bridge Bereavement Services at 419-423-5351 or email [email protected].
