Adult literacy discussion tonight at Bluffton library
Lima Literacy Council Director, Ken Blanchard and GED/ASPIRE Coordinator with Lima City Schools, Laura Ball will be at Bluffton Public Library tonight at 6 p.m. The library invites community members to join for a discussion about adult literacy in our community.
The two speakers will share their knowledge of the effects of different types of low literacy in individuals in our community, and our community as a whole, and will explain the services that the Lima Literacy Council offers in our area.
Meet on the lower level of the library for this discussion. There will be time to ask questions and/or get connected with local resources. Registration is suggested so library staff may know how to prepare, but is not necessary.
If you would like to register, stop by the library's front desk, call 419-358-5016, or visit this link: https://getlocalhop.com/the-hidden-costs-of-low-literacy-in-our-communities-with-the-lima-literacy-council/event/BgVkqssOGv/
