Several arrested for driving under suspension
The February Bluffton police log follows:
February 3
Officers arrested a Lima resident for driving under suspension, plates belonging to another vehicle, and expired registration following a traffic stop in the in the area of Interstate 75 at mile marker 140. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
February 4
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for OVI and driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Main Street. After further investigation, the individual was also charged with possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
February 9
Officers received a complaint from a Cherry Street resident in reference to threatening messages they were receiving while playing a video game. The case was forwarded to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau for further investigation.
February 10
Officers arrested an Alger resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 at Interstate 75. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
Officers arrested a Rawson resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Bentley Road at the corporation limit. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
February 15
Officers arrested a Lima resident on an outstanding warrant out of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office. The individual advised the arresting officer that they had an illegal substance on their person and was subsequently charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
February 18
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of County Line Road and State Route 103. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
February 20
Officers received a fraud/theft complaint from an East State Road resident. The fraud/theft attempt took place at a South Main Street business.
February 22
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Elm Street and County Line Road. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
February 23
Officers arrested a Fairborn resident for OVI following a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Main Street for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
February 26
Officers arrested a Kenton resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of County Line Road and State Route 103. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court. The owner of the vehicle admitted to knowing the driver did not have a valid license and was subsequently issued a citation for wrongful entrustment. The cases are pending in Findlay Municipal Court. A third occupant of the vehicle was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
February 27
Officers responded to an Elm Street residence in reference to a controlled substance being located on their property.
February 28
Officers responded to an Elm Street residence in reference to an assault complaint.
February 29
Officers received a civil complaint from a Saginaw, Michigan, business owner.
