Some great links from Bluffton Public Library
The staff of Bluffton Public Library truly miss our patrons and being able to serve the community from our front desk.
However, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority, and therefore, as we're sure you've seen on our website, the library made the difficult decision to close from March 17, 2020 through at least April 6.
Patrons that have checkouts should not worry– All due dates will be adjusted and items on the hold shelves will remain there for when the library reopens.
No fines or fees will accrue during the closure. We ask that patrons do not drop anything in our bookdrop.
Student art that was on display for our showcase is safe in our facility, and we will reach out to teachers when these items may be retrieved.
Unfortunately, due to both what we know and what we do not know about the nature of the coronavirus, no outreach or delivery of materials is happening at senior living facilities or patron residences.
Continue checking the library’s website or social media for updated information, and to explore everything we have to offer on our website. While we are unable to open our library doors to the public, we are still working to provide the community with these services:
Download eBooks and audiobooks on Overdrive and Libby.
Enjoy free home access to Ancestry Library Edition.
Learn a language with a free Transparent Languages account.
Receive free online tech training through LinkedIn Learning.
Browse our extensive list of research databases and useful links.
Sign up for a library card from home!
