It's September and BFR is busy
Bluffton Family Recreation is a busy place this month.
Several programs begin this week and next including U6 fall soccer, fifth and sixth grade volleyball, adult coed volleyball and an introduction to volleyball for 3rd and 4th graders.
Amy Byers, BFR sports coordinator, shows one of the volleyball shirts that each of the 3rd and 4th graders in this fall’s program will receive when the program begins on Saturday morning.
Many of the traditional fall youth programs will also start this month. Check the BFR website for registration details.
These programs include homeschool recreation class, Lil' dribblers, Elite basketball handling, Mad! Scientists, Lil' movers, Lil' ninjas and Lil' tumblers.
First-ever virtual 5K
BFR’s first-ever virtual 5K is Saturday, Sept. 5. Individual runners and entire families can go the distance while staying socially distant. Runners may participate from anywhere. Registration includes a shirt and prizes awarded for:
• Best Route
• Best Dressed
• Family Fun
