Drive-thru pick up
Community meals returned to Bluffton today – under a new format.
In a drive-thru format, the first community meal since this past winter, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association and the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, will take place.
It is hosted by English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., and the drive-thru pick up takes place in the church Jackson Street parking lot beginning at 6 p.m.
A donation bucket will be available with the proceeds going to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program food pantry.
The next community meal is Thursday, Oct. 15, and it will be served drive-thru style in the back of the Senior Center in the municipal parking lot.
