Bluffton schools will continue with its four-day in-learning schedule through March 26. The announcement was made on the school website by Greg Denecker, superintendent. Click here to read the entire announcement.

A portion of the announcement follows:
First, I want to thank you for all you have done to make our first half of the school year go as smoothly as possible.

Due to the pandemic, we will continue with four day in-person learning and Fridays as a remote learning day for all students during the third nine-weeks, which ends March, 26, 2021.

We will decide in March what our schedule will look like for the last nine weeks, which starts on March 29.

Please know that we realize the burden that the four-day-a-week schedule has on families. However, we are trying to educate all of our students in both platforms to the very best of our ability, and the fifth day is critical for planning lessons, recording content, and reaching out to remote learners for individualized instruction as needed.

In addition, the four-day-a-week schedule has helped in contact tracing and limiting the spread of the virus in our district.

Thank you to our in-person students who have followed the masking, social distancing, and quarantining rules; this has allowed us to stay in session four days a week without having to go completely remote like many others chools in our area.

Thank you to our remote students and their parents for keeping in contact with our teachers in order to make our remote platform successful.

Parents, if you have any concerns regarding your child’s education, please contact your child’steacher. We are all committed to making sure your child receives the best education possible.

You can follow your child’s grades on Progressbook, and if you have problems logging in, please check the web site or call the office.
