Mobile health clinic moved from Feb. 26 to March 5
Bluffton Public Library’s Mobile Health Clinic scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26. is cancelled.
Ohio Northern University’s Healthwise program will instead visit and offer their regular services the following Friday, March 5, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. They will also keep their monthly visit on March 26 at the same time.
Free Mobile Health Clinics are provided by ONU’s Healthwise program and hosted by Bluffton Public Library, and are scheduled twice in March 2021: Friday, March 5, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. (rescheduled from Feb. 26th's cancellation) AND Friday, March 26, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. The Mobile Health Clinic bus is usually parked in front of the library on Main Street during visits.
This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening). Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctors.
Bluffton Public Library thanks the staff and students of ONU Healthwise Mobile Health Clinic program for all they do for the library and its surrounding community.
