Paula Stewart 1948-2021
Paula Rae Stewart, 72, died March 24, 2021, at Bridge Hospice Care Center - Findlay. Paula was born July 14, 1948, in Bluffton to the late Willis and Phyllis (Grismore) Mayberry who preceded her in death. On July 10, 1966, she married Dave Stewart and he survives.
Paula graduated from Columbus Grove High School. She was a homemaker and active member of Lima First Church singing with the Worship Team and helping with the children's ministries.
Survivors include her husband, Dave Stewart of Columbus Grove; two sons, Roy (Tara Hatcher-Stewart) Stewart of Dunkirk, Sam (Natalie) Stewart of Springfield, Missouri; a daughter, Melanie (Richard) Montgomery of Bluffton; nine grandchildren, Alexander Stewart of Dunkirk, Clair (Shay) Briscoe of London, England, Ashley (Devon) Arnall of Springfield, Missouri, Andrew Stewart of Springfield, Missouri, Josh (Kimberly Garrison) Piercefield of Findlay, Jacob (Morgan Griffith) Piercefield of Bluffton, Joel Piercefield of Bluffton, Jared Piercefield of Bluffton, Chloe (Adam Troyer) Nulton of Elida; a great-granddaughter, Rain Piercefield; a brother, Greg (Patricia) Mayberry of Columbus Grove; four sisters, Grace Stechschulte of Pandora, Connie Collins of Columbus Grove, Lisa (Dennis) Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Denise (Alan) Rachesky of Port Orange, Florida; and two sisters-in-laws, Judy Stewart of Findlay and Barbara (Ron) Moore of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 27, at Lima First Church, 1660 Findlay Road, Lima. Pastor Darrell Bucher officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lima First Church.
