Bluffton baseball hosting hitting camp in January
The Bluffton University baseball program will host a hitting camp for players in grades 5-8 on Sunday, Jan. 16, and another for players in grades 9-12 on Sunday, Jan. 23. Each session will run from 1-4 p.m.; cost is $35, which includes a camp shirt.
Campers will be instructed in the fundamentals of hitting and will get a number of swings through a variety of drills. Individualized instruction will be provided by Bluffton coaches and players, who set Bluffton season records in 2010 for hits (424), RBI (239), home runs (31) and total bases (618).
