Linda M. Hilty worked at City Loan
Linda M. Hilty, 78, passed away October 25, 2021 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Linda was born December 9, 1942 in Lima to the late Thomas and Mary (Conkle) Long. On December 1, 1968 she married Gary Hilty.
Linda was a 1960 graduate of Elida High School. She had worked in the audit department at City Loan in Lima, helped run the H and H Market in Pandora and sold Avon products for many years. Linda was an active member of Pandora United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her many family vacations.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Hilty of Pandora; a daughter, Angela (Timothy) Gray of Pandora; two grandchildren, Gary Gray of Pandora, Jessica (Chris) Spradley-Holman of Pandora; two great-granddaughters, Ava and Alena Spradley-Holman; a brother, Tom (Patricia) Long of Delphos and a sister, Wilma (Tom) Evans of Gomer.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2021 at Pandora United Methodist Church. Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services-Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pandora United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
