College Credit Plus program December 15

Bluffton High School has announced that the 2022-2023 College Credit Plus (CCP) meeting will be held virtually from 7-8 p.m. on December 15 in a recorded YouTube session. Students considering enrolling in CCP are required to participate in the meeting.

The State of Ohio website www.ohiohighered.org/collegecreditplus explains, "College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families."

CCP Intent forms are due April 1, 2022 to the Counseling Office. Students must also take entrance exams and apply as a CCP student to their intended colleges by their deadlines. They must also notify the School Counseling office when they apply so a transcript can be sent to the college.
