March and April update for Bluffton Clean Up
The Bluffton Clean Up Facebook page reported a fantastic response to the invitation to pick up litter near the Buckeye Park in Bluffton. An April Clean Up invitation follows.
"Wow, what a turnout! The rain didn’t stop us.
"Thank you SO much to Girl Scout Troop #2011 and to the rest of these fine volunteers. We even had four citizens of Findlay come lend a hand. We were able to get three different areas in town thanks to the number of people that showed up. So if you see any of these faces today, tell them thanks for helping keep the community free of litter.
"Shout-out to Ian’s Doughnuts for surprising us with some amazing delicious vegan doughnuts afterward."
At 9:30 a.m. on April 23, individuals are invited to join Bluffton Clean Up volunteers at 415 OH-103 (formerly LiCo/KFC restaurant). Organizers ask that you 1) wear bright clothing so that you are visible to traffic 2) bring gloves. Children may participate under the supervision of an adult. Trash bags will be provided.
