Lou Ann Leiber worked for Triplett Corporation
Lou Ann Leiber, 82, passed away April 29, 2022, at her residence. Lou Ann was born April 7, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Charles and Imo (Bowman) Seever. On September 27, 1958 she married Dwain Leiber who survives.
Lou Ann was a graduate of Rochester High School in Rochester, Minnesota. She worked at Triplett Corporation, Bluffton. Lou Ann was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton, was a Sunday School teacher for 17 years, past deacon and elder and member of the Women's Outreach. She enjoyed attending her husband's and son's sprint car races and enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Dwain Leiber of Bluffton; two daughters, Debra Leiber of Elida, Rebecca Leiber of Bluffton; three grandchildren, Kyl Aller, Kayl Aller, Brandy Aller; two great-grandchildren, Braylin and Colton Aller and two sisters, Carol (Gary) Smith of Kasson, Minnesota and Emma Davis of Port Huron, Michigan.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by a son, Steven Leiber.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton with Pastor Jeremy Mann officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church of Christ or St. Rita's Hospice.
