The Pinup Project comes to Vine St. on Sept. 24
Live music and dancing on Vine Street will cap Bluffton's Discovery Days events on Saturday, September 24.
The Pinup Project will play from 8:00-10:00 p.m. Organizers note that retro dress is strongly encouraged. Listen to the band cover "Summertime" HERE.
From the trio's Facebook page:
“Iconic rock, pop, blues, r&b, jazz standards, rockabilly, and even country music meet the nostalgic appeal of the pin up era.
Songstress Morgen Hammer (Stiegler) brings the vintage appeal of the 1950s to today's stage with alluring originality.
The band, with musicians Morgen Hammer, Scott Parnell, Dylan Bretz Jr, and Jim Siebold brings musical precision, melodic agility, and nostalgic simplicity to the stage in a combination of original compositions and generation-defining music from a multitude of genres.
"Seamlessly welding rock and jazz, vintage allure and modern showmanship, The Pin Up Project invites listeners to step away from the ordinary and step onto the dance floor.”
